The Community Sustainability Hub (CSH) is designed to bring the community together and empower it to respond in a timely and reasoned manner to changing climate, social and economic conditions.
The CSH acknowledges First Nations as the Custodians of the Land and seeks their guidance and participation. See here for a list of CSH Members.
The objectives of the CSH are aligned to the Quadruple Bottom Line framework, the guiding framework for local government in New South Wales as per the below:-
Social cohesion is important to a community at all times and in particular when faced with a crises, such as that presented by the climate/biosphere.
Social cohesion cannot be built overnight and takes time, patience, commitment and money.
Additional key inputs to the CSH's program include:-
Recognised by Bioregional (UK) as a One Planet Living Leader, a recognition given only to the very best projects worldwide.
"Our Sustainable Goulburn Mulwaree is the founder of the CSH and is recognised as a "A Leader in One Planet Living" - There are hundreds of One Planet Living projects around the world, but only the very best achieve leadership recognition and a gold standard in placemaking".
