The Community Sustainability Hub Is designed to bring the community together and give it agency to respond readily to changing climate and economic conditions.
Objectives of the Hub are:-
The Goulburn-Mulwaree Community Sustainability Hub, CSH, is in collaboration with other groups in SE New South Wales, in building sustainbility at the regional level.
A high priority for the CSH's is to act in support of the First Nations' "Care for Country".
A key input to the program is the Fact Sheets from ZeroSE that determine the financial benefits of emissions reduction. See:- Emissions Fact Sheets SE NSW
The CSH adopted the One Planet Living Framework from Bioregional (UK), at its foundation. The OPL framework is adopted across the world including in Australia.
The CSH has likewise made a significant investment in time and money with OnePlanet.com using it to build mindmaps and plans. The CSH has used its Ecosystem mapping function to represent target sustainability attributes for Goulburn Mulwaree. OnePlanet.com enables Ecosystem plans for similar organisations across SE NSW, to be linked.
The CSH is in the process of bringing the community together to give it agency to address the impacts of the closure of the Straits of Hormuz, in particular on the availablility of fresh food.
