The Goulburn Mulwaree Community Sustainability Hub , comprises a network of: community-based groups; businesses; farmer groups; environmental groups; Landcare; schools and is dedicated to building a sustainable community and economy, that values social equity and inclusion. OSGM and the Community Sustainability Hub have delivered significant outcomes in-line with the above, over the period of six years they have been functioning. The Goulburn Mulwaree Council has a leading role to play in the Community Sustainability Hub that was formed to help in secure a sustainable future for our community and link it to others across SE NSW.

Plan Summary
This plan is in draft and based on the Ecosystem plan.
The plan is a template to be used when creating a plan for each of the seven major villages in the Goulburn Mulwaree LGA.
These villages are:- Marulan, Tarago, Bungonia, Tallong, Towrang, Lake Bathurst, and Windellama.
The Goulburn Mulwaree Local Government Area is managed by the G-M Council that also manages a number of smaller surrounding hamlets such as Baw Baw, Brisbane Grove, and Run-O-Waters.
A detailed list of the region's villages and rural localities includes:
Marulan: Located 25 km east along the Hume Highway, this historic town offers great access to the stunning Morton National Park.
Tarago: Positioned 39 km south of Goulburn, it features the iconic Loaded Dog Hotel and services the nearby Lake George. Tarago is the site chosen by Veolia to build a so-called "Waste To Energy" incinerator that will out toxins into the air during the start-up phase whiolst it is getting up to they required operating temperature.
Bungonia: Famous for Bungonia National Park, which offers rugged limestone gorges and hiking trails, located about 34 km southeast of Goulburn.
Tallong: A peaceful, heavily timbered village nestled between Marulan and Bungonia.
Towrang: A small residential locality just 15 km north of Goulburn, known for its convict-built Stockade heritage sites. Lake Bathurst: Situated right next to the vast (and frequently dry) Lake George, approximately 35 km southwest.Windellama: A rural community located 30 km southeast of Goulburn, heavily rooted in agriculture and local markets
