Our Sustainable Goulburn Mulwaree
Our Sustainable Goulburn Mulwaree is a Community Sustainability Hub. The Community Sustainability Hub is designed to bring the community together and give it agency to respond readily to changing climate and economic conditions, elaborated in this web site. This is in-line with the following Goulburn Mulwaree Council Plan:- Community Strategic Plan 2042 and the Draft South NSW And Tablelands Regional Plan 2041. Key objectives of the Hub are:-
The G-M CSH is a founding members of the SE NSW Network of Community/Environmental Groups, together with ZeroSE, WinZero and others. The CSH is linked to Bega Circular Valley. OSGM is a member of "Sustainable and Just Cities" network founded and managed by Erasmus University Rotterdam.
The CSH, is a long time advocate of the One Planet Living Framework and is now in the process of implementmg that framework with other members ofthe CSH, including comercial organisations. The first CSH/One Planet Living project is at the Marys Mount Housing development.
A recent initiative of CSH, through Our Sustainable Goulburn Mulwaree, is the promotion of mycorrhizal fungi, as a very effective way of improving rural and urban soils and carbon sequestration. For more information see: https://www.spun.earth/.
